As I was interning at Pace University Career Services I took on the role to manage the Career Closet. The closet stores professional Women, Men, and Unisex attire: including blazers, pants, button downs, etc. Every student has free access to the closet and can sign out articles of clothing for interviews, job fairs, career service events, or for any occasion. As the year came to an end I noticed that the closest was quite dated and lacking in feminine work attire. Using my connections I contacted the Chief Sustainability Officer, Counsel and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Steve Madden, Gregg Meyer, who I originally met few months previous. I told him all about the Career Closet and under Steve Madden he donated 10 boxes filled with mens, woman and unisex work attire.
